AM PM Staffing Services is seeking a skilled and creative Audio Engineer to join our dynamic team at our client’s state-of-the-art performing arts theatre in St. Charles Parish.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for sound design and a strong understanding of audio production techniques. This role involves working closely with our production team to ensure high-quality audio for various productions. The Audio Engineer will be responsible for capturing, editing, and mixing audio tracks to enhance the overall production quality.
Duties
Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project requirements and audio needs.
Operate audio recording equipment during filming or live events to capture high-quality sound.
Edit and mix audio tracks using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant tools.
Implement signal processing techniques to enhance audio quality and clarity.
Work on post-production tasks including sound design, voiceovers, and foley work.
Ensure all audio elements are synchronized with video content during the editing process.
Maintain organized files for all audio recordings and edits for easy access by the production team.
Stay updated on the latest trends in audio technology and techniques to continually improve production quality.
Requirements
3 years of Audio Engineer experience
Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of signal processing and sound design principles.
Experience in videography and content creation is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail with a creative mindset for problem-solving in audio production challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback within the team.
